Checking for Remaining Ink

Printing is paused immediately when an ink cartridge becomes empty (with the default settings). Uneven colors may occur easily if the machine is paused. We recommend that you periodically check the remaining ink.
  1. Press MENU.
  2. Press ▲ several times to display the screen shown below.


  3. Press ▶.
    The amount of ink remaining is displayed.


    The numbers indicate cartridge slot numbers.

    indicates the amount of ink remaining. When there are more , the amount of ink remaining is larger. The display shows approximately how much ink remains. It may differ somewhat from the actual amount remaining.



  4. Press MENU and then ◀ to return to the original screen.
    MEMO:

    If the following message is displayed, ink cartridges must be replaced.



    		 The numbers of the cartridges that are out of ink flash.


    		The numbers of the cartridges whose ink has exceeded its shelf life flash.
