Disconnecting an External Device (Expansion Terminal B)

Before disconnecting an external device from expansion terminal B, you have to set "EXT. PORT B" to "DISABLE."
  1. Press MENU.
  2. Press ▼ several times to display the screen shown below.


  3. Press ▶.
  4. Press ▼ several times to display the screen shown below.


  5. Press ▶.
  6. Press ▲ or ▼ to select DISABLE.


    EXT. PORT B Explanation
    ENABLE Enables the connection to expansion terminal B.
    DISABLE (default setting) Disables the connection to expansion terminal B.
  7. Press ENTER to confirm your entry.
  8. Press MENU and then ◀ to return to the original screen.
  9. Turn off the machine's main power and sub power.
    WARNING

    Be sure to turn off all the power switches in this situation.

    Sudden movement of the machine may cause injury.

  10. Disconnect the external device from expansion terminal B.
