Setting the Number of Simultaneous RIP Processing Operations

When multiple printers are connected to VersaWorks, you can set the number of RIP processing operations to perform simultaneously.

For example, if there are three jobs that you want to perform RIP processing on, specifying [2] allows for simultaneous RIP processing on two of the three jobs. The maximum number of concurrent RIP processes that can be registered is the number of printers. For example, up to two jobs can be selected if there are two printers and up to four jobs can be selected if there are four printers. By default, the maximum number of concurrent RIP processes is selected. If you set this to a large number, the computer's CPU and memory usage will increase.

The maximum value that you can select is the number of connected printers.
