Performing Variable Printing

This section explains how to perform variable printing in which portions of the image are replaced with unique data such as names and values for each copy that is printed. This function is useful when you want to print multiple copies while only changing names or values such as changing the addressee on postcards and changing the number on tickets.
Procedure

In order to perform variable printing, you will need the following files:
  • A template design file containing variable fields to hold unique text or images.
  • A database file that defines the information (text or images) to be printed.
  • Image files if you want to print images.
