When Using CorelDRAW 11/12/X3

This section explains how to register a color system library color in CorelDRAW 11/12/X3.
  1. On the RIP server (the computer on which VersaWorks has been installed), open the folder [C:\Program Files\VersaWorks Dual\Swatch\CorelDRAW].
  2. Copy the "userinks.cpl" file to the desired location.
    If the target computer is not the RIP server, use the network or a piece of external media (such as a USB memory device or a floppy disk) to copy this file.
  3. Start CorelDRAW on the target computer.
  4. On the CorelDRAW menu, click Tools - Palette Editor.
    The Palette Editor window appears.
  5. Click Add Color.
    The Select Color window appears.
  6. Select the Palettes tab.
  7. Select Custom Spot Colors from the Palette drop-down list.
  8. Click the (file open) icon next to the drop-down list.
  9. Select the "userinks.cpl" file that you copied in step 2, and then click Open.
  10. From the color list, select the color that you want to add to the Custom Spot Colors, and then click Add to Palette.
  11. Click the Close button to close the Select Color window.
  12. Click OK to close the Palette Editor window.
  13. Delete the "userinks.cpl" file that you copied in step 2.
  14. Restart CorelDRAW.
